Steam Boiler Project for Soil Disinfection in Agricultural Base
Project Overview
This project is located in a certain green plant base in Jiangsu, China, covering an area of 500 acres, mainly planting high-value cash crops such as vegetables and fruits. To solve the problems of soil-borne diseases and pest infestations, the base needs a high-efficiency, environmentally friendly soil disinfection solution. Our company provided an optimized gasoline-powered steam boiler matching soil steam disinfector, which was put into operation in 2020, effectively improving the soil quality and crop yield.
Equipment Selection
An optimized gasoline-powered steam boiler with a Helmholtz-type pulse combustion system was selected. Featuring small size, light weight and strong mobility, it is suitable for field operations. Matched with a crawler-type soil steam disinfector, it can realize intermittent sterilization cycles. The steam output is adjustable according to soil type and disinfection needs, with a penetration depth of 30-50cm to ensure disinfection effect.

Project Effect
After the application of the steam disinfection system, the soil-borne disease control rate of the base reached more than 90%, and the pest infestation rate was reduced by 85%. The soil fertility was effectively improved, and the average yield of crops increased by 20-30%. The whole disinfection process is chemical-free, which is in line with the green planting concept, and the produced crops meet the international organic product standards, further enhancing the market competitiveness of the base's products.
