Hot Water Pretreatment Project for Electrophoresis Line
Project Overview
This project is an auto parts processing supplier for Leapmotor located in Zhengzhou, China, mainly engaged in the production of auto parts. It is equipped with a cathode electrophoresis primer coating and pretreatment production line. The pretreatment process of the electrophoresis line (including pre-degreasing, main degreasing, water washing, phosphating, etc.) requires stable high-temperature hot water to ensure the treatment effect. Our company provided a fully premixed gas-fired hot water boiler system for the factory, which was put into use in 2025 and effectively guaranteed the stable operation of the electrophoresis line.
Equipment Selection
2 sets of 1050kw fully premixed silicon-magnesium-aluminum hot water boilers were selected. Adopting advanced low-nitrogen burners, the NOₓ emission concentration is controlled below 30mg/Nm³, meeting national boiler air pollutant emission standards. Equipped with an intelligent temperature control system, it can accurately control hot water temperature and pressure to match the process requirements of each electrophoresis pretreatment link, ensuring uniform and stable pretreatment effect.
Project Effect
Since the boiler was put into use, the electrophoresis line pretreatment process has been running stably, the degreasing and phosphating effect of auto parts has been significantly improved, the adhesion of the subsequent electrophoresis coating has been enhanced, and the qualified rate of products has increased from 95% to 99.5%. The boiler has the advantages of high thermal efficiency (up to 95%), low energy consumption and low noise, which reduces the annual operation cost of the factory by about 20%. At the same time, the exhaust gas emission fully meets the environmental protection standards, helping the factory achieve green production.
